A Promise Born from Loss

In 2018, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

As a mother of two, that diagnosis didn't just change how I thought about my health — it changed how I saw time itself, the world I'm leaving my children, and what truly matters.

I wanted skincare and wellness that worked without destroying the planet. But everywhere I looked: vague ingredients, white-labeled products, empty promises.

So my husband — a stem-cell scientist — and I started creating what we couldn't find.

Together, we asked a simple but profound question:

How can we care for ourselves in ways that also care for the world we leave our children?

The Search

I visited factories across Asia. Most had never heard of eggshell membrane. Others dismissed it: "The market's too small. Not worth the hassle."

But we found partners who believed in the vision — manufacturers in Korea willing to work with our formulas, willing to commit to quality over convenience.

Because cutting corners was never an option.

Our journey took us to France, where we discovered the extraordinary potential of refined eggshell membrane — a natural source of collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, and amino acids.

C'est la Chic(k) — Hybrid soap that doesn't strip your skin like conventional soaps. It nourishes while it cleanses. Formulated by me in February 2025 after taking a soap-making course. Every egg-shaped bar, handmade in my Singapore kitchen.

How Each Product Comes to Life

This one's personal. I make every bar by hand in my Singapore kitchen.

After taking a soap-making course in February 2025, I spent months testing formulas to create something different — a true hybrid between exfoliating scrub and moisturizing soap. The kind that doesn't strip your skin dry.

Each egg-shaped bar is a little act of care.

These took over a year to develop.

We worked with Korean manufacturers to bring our formulas to life — using the same refined French eggshell membrane, with the precision and expertise we needed to get it right.

Finding partners willing to work with eggshell membrane wasn't easy. Most factories had never heard of it. But we found the ones who believed in what we were building.
